I've put pounds of aloxed boolits back in the pot. It will smoke to high heaven and stink, but that's the worst of it. You can light a match to the smoke and it will burn and not smoke as bad. Clean the remaining crud off the top real good.

i remelted them and they did smoke to the max. this was indoors too. if i were you i would, try cleaning the alox of if you are going to remelt them inside.

Put 'em in a 5 gallon bucket with a little diesel fuel, gas or kerosene, swish 'em around real good and pour 'em out somewhere to dry. The fuel will take the alox off quick.

I have just re melted them down when I do my soww and don't know any difference .

i do it sometimes and its ok. leaves a hard coating on top of the melt
