BruceB Health Update 1230 May 30

Bruce phoned me with the word that his left leg will be amputated, below the knee, next Wednesday. Expecting more as soon as Mrs. B can get the computer back on line.

Today is May 24, NOT May 30. That's because I have been in doubt about the date of the month and the day of the week since I retired 13 years ago.

Needless to say I am very sorry to here this.
I hope he is OK, I will say a nice prayer right now for his good health and well being.
I am sure he knows he has a lot of friends pulling for him.

Dear Lord I ask in Jesus name that you watch over Bruce B. Give him strength
and confidence to get through this ordeal.
Lord while I am here I ask in Jesus name to watch over all the fine people at Cast Bullets and there families. Amen

When I first read of this, I tried several times to post a reply of some kind. What I could come up with sounded either trite or trivial to me. Bruce has been one of the few folks whose sound counsel on life in general, and his deep knowledge of shooting are the backbone of this community. I have never met in in person, but feel like he a good friend. This has rocked me back.

I will pray without ceasing and hope strongly, that he makes a good recovery from this and get back to a life which is enjoyable and fulfilling.
