I've been planning a Big Garage sale for about a month.
Glencoe advertises a CITY WIDE Garage Sale for this weekend.
I only open it for one day, the first day of the run.
Yesterday was the Big Day, while I did get rid of some krap,
there sure weren't enough buyers for my taste.
I heard thoughout town that the buyers just weren't here this year.

here is a photo from 6:30am

If you have that much 'stuff' that you don't want, you have been needing a garage sale for a long time ...

Is that an Air Force tool box, whith drawers and everything?

The small town I live in here in No. Indiana is having the same thing this Friday & Saturday. Todays turn out was also very flat for the sellers, there were some buyers, but not like other years. And many paid with exact change, no big bills, as in $10's or $20's.

That middle Coleman has either got a funky scent to it or a hole in it, right?

Yeah, that 80 year old garage has an attic, problem is, each floor joist is made of two 10' 2"x4"s that are scabbed together to span 16' (there is some sheet metal wrapped around the scab). So when this 250+ lb boolit caster is up there rumaging around in all the clutter, the floor gives a little:shock:

Well, you know what they say, one man's trash is another man's.................trash!:bigsmyl2:

I was told something very similar by my Mexican (legal Alien) neighbor, He said I have alot of krap that other people just don't want.

No Air Force toolbox, I think what you are seeing halfway down the boulevard
is an antique sewing box, yes full of sewing stuff. $10

Nope, pretty decent shape.
All three were originally priced at $5 each,
they didn't sell til I dropped the price to $2 each.
They all are sold, now as for the vintage Samsonites,
they are all still for sale for $1 each :(

The telephone pole stays,
nearly everything else that didn't sell is getting donated.
