Buying Vs. selling

Just outa' curiosity, I called the recycler I deal with to find out what he's paying for refined lead ingots. He quoted me twenty cents a pound.:holysheep No wonder he doesn't have any.

I just picked up 80 pounds of lead at a garage sale. Offered $5. Seller said OK, the recyler only said he would pay $15, it is not worth my time to load up and spend the money on the gas (24 mile trip). Somethimes these cheap &%$#@ help us.
