pewter mug

I got a small pewter tooth pick mug at a sale today. It is a couple of ounces at most. On the bottom it says " International Pewter " and has an eagle with its wings spread. There are the numerals 277 and 25-1 also on the bottom. It is a little corroded and has a small ding in the side. Is it valuable or is it tin scrap?

Very little modern pewter has value higher than as scrap tin. Melt it.

Very valuable to a caster as it has tin.
