Seems as though the RCBS mould drops small

It is close to being right but in my experience it is hard to get an RCBS mold the right diameter, most are under size. Mine drops .429" as does my 245 RCBS. It is a matter of luck to get a mold cut with a new cherry. Same as my 500 gr RCBS BPCR boolit that dropped at .457".
We use .431" in the .44.
But then you should show us what the boolit does by posting some pictures. That is the best way for a new fella to make a decision.

RCBS has great designs but like most mass produced molds the dimensions aren't always what we need.

I was just thinking of this the other day...I'd be in if there is a hp option.

I would like a two cavity at .460-461" diameter with no HP.

Just wondering if there would be any feeding issues given the length of the bullet in an 1895 Marlin Cowboy? What would the approximate drop weight of the bullet be with straight wheel weights z- both HP and solid?

Any possibility of getting a 4 cavity made out of brass?

Count me in for a 4C brass mold if we get enough people.

Don't know if this is still happening, but I would be interested in a plain base version of this mold.
