I have my lyman 450 that I bought in the 70's and have not used since 1980. It has 2 dies with it but not positive which ones. Maybe 44 mag and 270. I used to have 270 gas checks so probley what one of the die's is. I'm not going to use it and wondering what the value is. I do have a couple of pictures of it but don't know how to post pictures. Also have the manual with it.

I paid $70 for one not long ago but it had no dies and was missing the ratchet wrench. I probably overpaid but he was local and I could avoid paying shipping.

Though a different item, I bought a 45 from a member for $50 shipped.

If you wipe the tops of the dies with a cloth, there should be a small stamped number that is the nominal sizing diameter.

depends on condition,
if you include a couple dies ...
if it works but looks tough $50
if it looks like new, and has wrenches maybe as high as $100

Thanks for all the replies. It looks pretty much like new. When I get time will look at the dies and see what I have and list it for sale.

If it has the handle update or the old style & all the parts & tools will affect price !!

Here`s 1 of mine with the handle update , new pressure screw guide/cover.

I don't have the updated handle. It looks like the red one in your picture. I don't know how to post pictures or would show it.

How much does the handle update cost? I guess you have to get them from Lyman???

I took the bicycle grip off of my handle and replaced it with a wood ball from Hobby Lobby. I like it better than the old grip. Some users have had problems with the castings on the upgrade breaking. I would just use the strap handle with either the bicycle grip or a ball grip until it fails and then look at getting the upgrade.
