They look good but the acid test as mentioned is whether the size is correct for your gun. My Berretta has been givin me fits with that boolit as the groove dia in that barrel is .402. I say lube and shoot though. Happy shooting and be safe!

Send each one of us 10, and we will go though the pain saking trouble to beta test them

What r5r said - As long as they're not too small, loob em & shoot em. Mike

I've shot worse looking ones. As long as they fit they should be fine.

How do you keep your bench so clean?
Try'em out and let us know.

I would add that they should chamber freely when loaded into your brass. In other words not too small and not too big. Try to shoot a few and see. OR If you have a micrometer you can measure the diameter and see if they should work for your gun. If you carefully drive one of them through your barrel with a brass or protected steel rod and measure the diameter of the resulting SLUG , then you will begin to know whether they should work. So two approaches. One trial and error, Two, Scientific, measure and see if it looks like it will work. .....start with a minimum load from your loading manual which you should have read by now.

No kidding!! +1 on that question. It must be one of those for "for pictures only" benches. It doesn't even have lead splatters or drips on the bench!!

Take it easy on the guy, he only cast two bullets, how messy could that be??:bigsmyl2:

Thanks everyone! I will be sure to lube and load as directed.
So far they measure up .4015 +- so i think they should be good in my barrel slugged at .4000.

Zuke - I normally don't keep the bench that clear but I'm dealing with molten metal & don't want to leave many things to chance.
As with most things give me time I'm sure there will be more drips spills clutter etc.

Those look fine to me. I'd be sure they were properly sized for the gun being used, lubed, & I'd say you are good to go.
Casting is fun isn't it?
Congratulations.

No, No, No. Don't put those things in your gun, You'll shoot yer eye out. Carefully wrap those and send them to me for proper disposal!

But really, looking good and welcome to the addiction...

Whatever you do don't look in the group buy section. I just recently ordered a bunch of hp molds. This hobby is going to grab you and not let go...

Oh god, +1! You have started on the gateway drug now. If you go into group buy, you have started mainlining. Say goodbye to your wallet, to your beer, to your Superbowl snacks ...

Friends don't let friends go into group buy....

They look a lot better than my first ones.

^^ I'll echo that statement. Took me a few tries to get em looking half that good.

In fact mine still only look half that good :groner:

First, they look great. Good job. I'm assuming they are for a 9mm. That is a
great boolit design. Done properly, it will work well for you.

Check this out, it might save you some trouble.
