Great time here today. Eric, my nephew and I shot uzzi's on the river walk and he shot an m-40 308? I might have the #'s wrong on that. Big gun show Pat Mc Donald had a lot of projectiles and cases but no surplus powder visible. Hi-Tech's 844 is $92 a jug and no shipping. They may have some 846 soon calling it 308 powder but it wlll be the same powder. Prices just go up and up. I have seen a few things that interest me, revolvers not many, a lot of semi auto pistols, and a 92 Win in 32-20. It was $595 and you could see down the bore but that was the best you could say of it. To quote the seller "it's not like you would buy a gun like this and then put a 1000 rds down it anyway". It is still there. A lot of full auto AR's and the like, I even met a couple of people who knew what a bullet mold was but did not see one. Gianni

Foolish heresy.

I've already put several hundred cast boolits down the bore of my 1891 Gewehr 88 that I got for Christmas. What kind of nut would buy a gun and set it aside without shooting it?

Day 2 started out wet and rainy. We did get to damp with a slight mist for 20 minutes or so. Shot some fun stuff, Uzzi, AK-47, M-2, german MG42. These people have no respect for brass. Got a couple of good deals on knives, I found a mold in the shop, the only one there, LY 358242, 120 gr rn, $29.95 inspected by Sheila in Feb 93. As it was in it's original packaging I decided to liberate it and allow it to perform it's designed use. I have one and it's a shooter so a 2nd won't hurt to have. Nephew ended up with a good upper AR in 223 and several magazines and a couple of knives so he is happy. I would recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to go. Not my first cup of tea but I am willling to at least consider having one of those evil black rifles in the cabinet.Flame throwers are fun to watch, $190 to run for 3 minutes, I passed up that one also.Gianni

The machine gun renters have a great time going to a loan officer and explaining why they need a loan on another machine gun (or six) and proving the return on investment. Get them to tell the story. One can't help but laugh.

Hi tech has some Russian powder that is the equivilant of Unique. They havn't figured out what to charge and the thought of pouring all those one pounders it came in into jugs is daunting. They think about $5.00/lb. Maybe.

I shoot the bolt action and assault rifle matches, occasionally the pistol matches. The most fun I have all year
