It's been forever since I've seen Winchester pack ammo loose like that. This stuff is worth more because it's vintage!

Week is starting off pretty good so far! :drinks:

The boxes look to be in very good condition, nothing like shooting free ammo, heck of a buddy you got their.

You know those condomized projectiles will ruin a good boolit shootin iron. Lucky for you, I have a .357 that has a barrel specifically for shooting them and I'd be happy to take those nasty things off your hands. :kidding:

Ain't it nice having good friends like that? Great score!

Those packages were known as "Q" loads. Look at the product code on the end flap, all started with "Q". Winchester did it with about a dozen of the most popular chamberings, in low cost white boxes. Winchester did that as their economy line, just as Federal did about the same time with "American Eagle". Good ammo at a good price "in the day".

Looking at the .357 and the .30 carbine rounds. The look pretty close to the same size.
Does someone make a revolver in .30 carbine caliber? That would be pretty cool.

I've always kind of wanted a .30 Carbine T/C barrel and this might just push me over the top. :groner:

I shot some of that 110 gr .357 back in the late eighties. Double hearing protection would not be out of line. That stuff was very loud at the San Diego indoor range.

IIRC it cost $9.99/ box at Sportmart????
