Back in January, I think, I purchased a 308329 mould that the seller was getting rid of, because it was worn to the point of dropping severely out of round boolits. If I remember correctly, they measured less than .308 at 90* from the parting line. I told several folks that I was planning on trying to beagle this mould, and would post results... I finally have some results for you!
I messed around with different amounts of the aluminum tape, and having it in different locations on the faces of the mould. Once I had enough tape on it to make it round, and fat, I was getting noticeable finning on the nose. I then cut back some of the tape on the nose, and the results looked pretty good!
The boolits measure .312 on the bands (only maybe .001 out of round!), and .301 just after the front drive band, on the nose. They weigh 187gr in water dropped wheel weights
They size to .310 perfectly, and the gas check fit - although a little tighter than I would like - will work!
Shooting tests will hopefully follow in a week or two
As they say. a picture - 1000 words - and all that>>>

Take care!

Where to you get aluminum tape? How thick is it?

Excellent.

Remove tape from the gas check area and see if that gets the shank diameter closer to its original diameter. I have an 8 mm mould that needed beagling, but I didn't want to enlarge the shank -- it worked.
