Help wit 300 Savage

I have been casting 155 gr 30 cal. boolits, and using gas checks for my 30.06, and I figure I might as well shoot them in my bolt action 300 Savage. I have been using Unique powder. I need a suggestion for starting grains for the 300 Savage.

I know there are other powders you might use, but Unique is what I have and am going to use.

I have used 10-12 grains in my Savage model 99. Works well, even took a huge mule deer with it.
