I'm looking for a lee(I'm broke) mould for my win94 in .30wcf. Mainly for target and occasional hunting(deer & hog).

Great bullet, good mold, great price. What's not to like?

how is the recoil on it? its going to be my girlfriends gun and she is kinda recoil shy.

depends on how hard you push it.
i use aa-2230 in mine 24.5 grs is enough to do what i want [with the rcbs 150] like deer hunt, and kill rocks.
27 grs is still accurate but is a whole different story in the recoil dept.
theres also about 300 fps difference in velocity.
i'd bet if you start her off at 10 grs of unique and work her up from there she will do fine.
like one load for practice and one for hunting.

My Marlin will buck pretty hard near the top end, light gun + plastic butt pad is tough on ladies' shoulders. 10 grains of Unique or book charges of 2400 (work up the 2400 carefully with a tuft of Dacron) are cream puffs and very accurate. They will also kill deer very, very efficiently at reasonable ranges, especially if the alloy isn't too hard.

Well they sent me the 150gr mould. I'll try it out, you think it's a big enough boolit for a 200lb pig?

Isn't that a round-nose rather than flat nose?

nope, its a flat nose. looks identicle to the 170gr, just shorter.

Well, would you put on a leather jacket and stand in front of one of those boolits? I wouldn't. I don't think a pig would want to, either.

Yes it will do the job on a 200 pound pig. It has worked well for me up to 300 pounders a few times.
It also works fine on deer.
Both are fine boolits.
