Powder Valley has Small Pistol primers in stock. 05/01/12 1840 hours Eastern. No Tula but $26/1000 is dirt cheap for CCI and Federal.

No one for that price anymore. Wolf I don't believe are being made anymore, Tula is the replacement. Stuff is going to start getting short again going into the election, so if you need it, buy it now.

Ive got a local guy that is selling them. They are pricy, but he had winchester for $30 and wolf for $25. All the stores around here are selling primers for $35+ and then you have to add tax.

yep, that's the reason they are not to be used in AR's.

They are thicker than most SPM primers by about .003" and thinner than other SR primers, by about .003-.005"

Shoot fine in a friend's 40 S&W- fit kinda snug in new Winchester brass, though. He'll be selling them by the thousand at the Richmond, Va gunshow May 19-20 if you're close enough to make the trip.

Gonna have to buy a boatload of Tula from this guy. I refuse to spend $25-$35 per 1,000 for primers!

Widener’s still has some small rifle Wolf primers for $16.00.
http://www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=278|284|737

I’ve got mine from a couple years back and would highly recommend anyone who shoots much to jump on a supply of these. My recommendation would be to buy as many as you think you’ll shoot in the net five years. That is an immediate high return on your investment. The European primer compound is reported to burn at a lower intensity for a longer duration. Makes a great primer for reduced cast bullet loads. I have a load with Large rifle Wolf primers that has returned single digit extreme spread over a chrony.

Primers from the Tula factory were dumped on the US market under the Wolf name to get there product into the market. Market dumping is illegal but the Communist government we live under does not enforce capitalistic ideals or laws. Now that the American shooting public has been introduced to the product they have flipped the box name to Tula and bumped the price to a bit under American made primers. That’s the simplified version of the marketing strategy as I’ve of course no inside info and from the outside it appears some vendors were kicked to the curb after taking a low profit lead market approach. All I have to say is anyone who does business with those dirt bag Russians without getting there money up front is a total idiot. Graff’s recently had CCI primers at a good price and I stocked up a multi year supply of those and have American made primers.
