cranes, storks, and herons like to eat frogs.
i don't know where you'll find any of those.
most frogs like water, remove that and they'll move on.

There,s the rub,all the wading birds have just moved out of the catchment basin behind the house to their Spring quarters and the little green boogers know it! Can,t cut the water supply to the swamp cooler in this neck of the woods.Decisions, decisions!
Maybe get the dogs up to par on bayonet drill.(Should that be bayou drill?) Oh.Well........Thanks all.Mike

Get a few garter snakes, they'll take care of a lot of them.

We have a huge poulation of toads in Kansas where I live some years, usually when it's wet. I have read where thoese little guys eat something like a third of their body weight in insects every day, so they are welcome to hang around as far as I'm concerned. I'll even stop the lawnmower to hustle one of them out of the way to safety if I come across one.

i wonder if fooling them with a plastic fake one would work?
i have used them as confidence decoy's while duck hunting before.

I almost crashed a motor bike once cause of some damn frogs. Was a really warm and humid night after a rain storm. Frogs all over the highway. Hit a herd of them and it was like riding on grease. Couple miles later I rear ended an owl that was flying along plucking them off the highway.

Send them here! 8-) I miss frogs, I gigged them in Ohio, always had a freezer full of legs.
Now here there are none.

Enjoy them. All the frogs are gone from around here. (So. Cal) Used to catch them all the time. Horned toads too. Haven't seen either in like twenty years.

Why would a photo of a toad scare off frogs?

I am assuming these are all to small to eat. But you might try putting a bromine tablet or two in your swamp cooler. We used them at the plant, to keep algae and fungi from building up in the portable swamp coolers. Chlorine tabs also work, but gave off more odor than the bromine tabs did. They should carry them at swimming pool supply shops.

I was camping and fishing on the Black River in N. Az with my son one spring. must have hit it just right cause we heard frogs all night long. I did have some foam ear plugs along so we finally got some sleep.
Only saw a couple frogs during the day.
I would rather listen to frogs than crickets!
