parkinglot. I was leaving a Target store idling across the parkinglot when I spotted a truck WW. Pulled up beside it and loaded it in the F150. Just weighed it. Spot on 1/2 pound. 3500 grains of free boolit material! That'll make me about 20 something 38 boolits.
There are some bargins at Target.

HAHAHA!
That made me laugh!
When I first read through it I thought it said:
"going thru parking lot at Target, stopped and pulled a wheel weight off a F150"
Got it on the second pass!
Nice score!

Last summer I was getting off the highway and saw a WW from 100 yards away. No joke. Turns out it was an 8-ouncer also. Gotta love those one-stop half-pound finds!

I'll freely admit, I had thought about walking down the free way some day. You just have to wonder how many weights are laying on the side of the road. Especially roads that have the grooves cut in them.

Good find. They add up quick.

When I started out in casting I was still a teenager with no money and lots of time. About once a week I drove around town to every railroad crossing and pot hole. This netted me about four or five pounds a week. Very small town. Not many crossings but LOTS of pot holes.
