I have a small Honda EX650 generator that runs perfect & looks great. A neighbor wants to buy it because all he can find here are 2 stroke's. I have a 3500 Watt generator I keep for a just in case power outage that will do everything I need.
So what is a fair price to ask for this?

There are just times when that little Honda can provide power for light loads when quiet is important, like camping for example. The 3500 is probably pretty loud. I have a 25 KW tractor powered gen set for diasters, a 2500 W for portable power with tools and want a small Honda for my pickup camper. I think you'll be sorry if you sell the Honda, just sayin'.

unless you sell it for more then what it is worth. you will never replice it for what you get for it. that said why don't he go buy a new one from the honda store? cost too much? reread the first sentence.

They are worth a lot more if the lights have been out for a few days.

1. Do you really need to sell it? 2. Is your neighbor someone who would abuse/misuse the generator and then come back complaining? 3. Do you hunt, fish, go to the beach or lake? Small generators are really useful and handy, just to have in the back of the vehicle.

LOL. I didn't catch the humor. I think that is a smart decision. Low maintenance, run every now and then, great back up.
