Any value in Zinc wheel weights?

Friend gave me a bucket of wheel weights and there was about 6 lbs. of Zinc. Do scrappers take these or just throw in garbage?

I believe scrap zinc is selling higher than lead.

Use it for trade bait at the scrap yard........give them the zinc then reluctantly (and somewhat sadly)........accept nasty old lead in exchange.

I welded a zinc WW to the bottom of a pipe for a sacrificial anode,
stuck it in the ground, attached mailbox.

Trade for lead, zinc is more expensive.

Trade it for lead or use it to make cannonballs with. Or, just sell it to the scrappers.
