I recently bought a Mihec mould, (270-SAA-45) and got the little bottle of mould lube with it.

I also gained possesion of a Lipsey's 45 Flattop convertible 4 5/8".

Made some Ben's Red and had minimal leading.

I read a lot of the posts about using mould lube to keep lead from smearing on the mould between the sprue and the block.

I put a small amount of mould lube on a Q tip and applied it to the lands and grooves right in front of the forcing cone after cleaning and went to the range. I do believe that the small amount of leading has become non existent.

Makes sense.

Cool, I'll have to try that. Is the mold lube Bull Plate?

I've prepped bare, clean barrels with Bullplate (about the same stuff as Miha's mould lube) for years. I also try to use the base lubricant oil in whatever lube formula I'm using in that gun. With Ben's Red you could use any decent oil, or even a swab of the Lucas grease on a patch and then pull a tight, clean patch through after it to leave just the slightest film.

I have done that to clean bores with LLA.
I have not done any formal testing but it seems to help.

I think?
