I found a local recycling company that will sell me WW for $.40/lb, price is getting up there so I stopped in to get maybe 30-40lbs I figured. Well they just showed me the big tub and told me to pick out what I wanted.:-P
I ended up getting 130lbs of mostly 2.25oz and up of ww. I didn't have the time to pick each and every weight to examine it but I did do a quick pick, so I got three quarters of a bucket full of all heavy ones and ended up with only 3lbs worth of zinc and steel weights after a good sorting this afternoon at home. I hope to end up with 110 to 120 lbs lead after the clips are gone.I am planning many more repeat trips,with more time to sort and not bother with the small ones.So it comes out to a good price afterall.
