Been a very productive year and a brutal one so far for 2012.
I've been hammered by severe weather and it's not over yet...! Snow, rain, cold, and it just won't stop so feeding my house and shop woodstoves has been a job.
One production holdup has been bent and out of round stock (for male dies) coming from my supplier. After buying the same stock for 3 years, they started sending me stock that has been creating problems for my male dies, resulting in pending orders being held up on my bench. I now have programmed fixes and remedied the issue so past due orders sent with USPS notices will be leaving soon.
Great news is I just up graded my off grid system power to now run three CNC machines at once! I'm running my 2 Hardinge CNC Super Precision lathes for Checkmaker™ dies and now online my Supermax CNC Mill for the ROCKDock™.
That's in addition to all of my manual machines which I've always been able to run 3 at once, so now- the Hillbilly at Patmarlins can run SIX (6) machines in his shop simultaneously, here off grid in the outback Forest. That's some real "Green" manufacturing without bailouts...
This means I can finally program new calibers rapidly, and I dare say get caught up and keep stock in addition to greatly reduce order wait times.
I've had many, many orders. I sincerely thank you guys in this shooting industry for your business and keeping me hopping with repeat purchases of dies and rockdocks. World wide even! While shifting into another production gear, I will also be offering a new website coming soon.
The 44 caliber Checkmaker™ is finally HERE!
The pics show 44 cal standard for gascheck shank molds formed out of .010 copper and .014 aluminum. As with all my dies, the fit is perfect. The dies are working flawlessly. All 44 cal preoders will be shipped soon. All preordered 44PB die orders as well.
