I won this gun in a raffle at a Sporting Clay Shoot. I haven't picked it up yet but I'll get it Friday. I do have a pic of it. I can't find this gun listed anywhere. It is a 28ga semi auto.
Does anybody know anything about this gun?

Yeah, I found that link. a Guy asking the same question. This gun is new in the box. I'll be picking it up today to verify everything I posted in the first post is correct. Renato Gamba "Italian Company" appears to make high quality Shotguns, mostly O/U and side by sides. They produce only a few semi autos from looking at their web sight.

The Royal 07 is the closest thing to what I won. I've tried to Google Renato Gamba copies and drew a blank too.

If I knew anyone that far north, I'd have them call, but all the folks I know in Italy are in the heel of the boot.

Ok, I got the gun and it is what I said it was. Why can I not find this gun anywhere on the net?

I've been trying to find some info on the shotgun that I won. I found out that American Shooters sells the gun from info on another forum. Pasted below is my reply. The gun is "nice".

I called American Shooters today. I got a little info on this gun. The one I have, they sell for $1,400. The gun is built partly in Italy and part in turkey. They said that everyone that had them were very pleased. But that's sales talk. I think that I will try it out with on a few rounds of Skeet next time that I get out to the club.

Designed by Renato Gamba = made in Turkey under Italian quality control

Take a close look at the various "European" and "made in Turkey" pump guns and semiautos. Most of them have the typical Turkish look. Of course some are still made in Europe.

In this case I knew it was from Turkey the moment I saw the pictures. The receiver is typical for Turkey-manufactured guns.

I hope this doesn't ruin your day. And if you are lucky you got one of those good Turkish guns. I have seen several with outstanding quality and several that were total garbage..
