computer opinion --- please

Only that we use dell laptops at work, in the office, on trucks and on the jobsites. They survive the dust and vibration better than anything else we've tried.

One of my customers when I was consulting had about 5000 of the 320s, some in less than optimal conditions and they faired well.

I'm a Mac guy, but at work all we have are Dells. (The state of Tennessee has an exclusive contract with them.) On the two I've used most, both have had their hard drives and motherboards replaced since 2001 or so when we got them. Virus problems were involved and may have contributed to the hardware failures. The parts used in all of these things, any make, are generic and it's hard to say whose PC is really better than another's.

IMHO Don't buy Dell. Thier service after buying is terrible.
