I got a lb. of lead free solder at a grage sale.
Would you guys in the know tell me the pro & con of useing this in my alloy.

Well, it's probably about 95% tin, so if you need tin in your alloy, there you go.....

You can pretty much consider it pure tin for most purposes.
There really is no downside.
All pro....no con ! :)

Should have some antimony and possibly copper in it also.
That's what I use to make a pot of lead more pourable.

I tend to buy any and all partial rolls of solder at yard/garage sales. I explain this action as the old plumber in me resurfacing.Robert
