View Full Version : First casts in a year yesterday-whee!

I finally got the chance to cast a few with my new Mihec H&G #68 HP mold yesterday. Other than the fact it is so heavy it is an absolute joy to use. Once it came up to temp the boolets just fell out when I turned the mold over. I can't wait to see how these shoot.

I didn't make too many because I really needed to crank out some 30 cal for my new 300 Blackout barrel. Here's a canful of NOE 311407's I poured yesterday as well:

It was nice to fire up the melter and make some boolets again. There are the first fresh ones I've made in over a year.

Don't forget to post some pics of the targets. That mold can get kinda heavy tho...

Nice boolits & noodles !!!!

I use cans also, mainly fruit salad cans & plastic mayo/peanut butter jars & shorting tubs or - - - - - -
