348 Winchester Gaschecks?

This is my first post on this site and I need a little help. I have a Winchester Model 71 that was passed down to me. I reload, but for the life of me, I cant locate gaschecks for the .348 Win. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

YOu must create a new log in if you have not been there before (most use the same name they use here). Go to the tab marked "place your order". Look at the drop down for the gatorcheck wish list. You will find what you are looking for there. They are not available at the moment but will be if there is enough intrest so you must indicate there that you want some and how many.

I just looked at the Hornady Web site ( http://www.hornady.com/shop ) and they have 348 gas checks listed as item # 7100 @ $37.32 per 1000. I bought 10,000 a number of years ago from Midway, but it seems as if no one has them listed in their catalogs any longer. I hope that this may help you! DUST

.338 gaschecks are less than .308's and about the same price as .358's. Are they thin and come off the shanks in flight like the .35's?

Russell40: I don't know if this will help but I saw several boxes of 348 gas checks a couple of weeks ago in Lewiston Idaho. A sporting goods store called Blacksheep had them on the shelf. I think they were about $15.00 a box. They have been there a long time.
