A minor brag

Got a Cadet Martini in .357Max, 24" 1 in 16 barrel. Having a ball with cast experimenting around. Made some 190gr LFN plain base boolits that leaded the barrel badly with my hunting load so been playing to see what they are good for besides PP, which was great. Tried two loads of TrailBoss today. First was 5.6gr at 25yds, got just inside an inch. The good one was 6.4gr, got 969fps avg, put 'em side by side, 9/16" apart, two of the boolits went thru one hole. I got to try this at longer range, think I'm on the trail of a fun practice load. Goatwhiskers

these single shot rifles sure look like fun to mess with, everybody that has one seems to like them.
i shoot 250gr saeco's [#248 mold] in my 357 max revolver.
and would love to give them a go in a rifle [like the rossi or the nef] but i don't see a lot of single shot rifles around here.
i'd like to get one in 44 and ream it out for the 445 too.
i'll just have to look harder.
