if you don't raise your head,and make a little cup of your palm you can work the bolt much faster.
however,,,some bench technique,breath,sight, and trigger control will make your groups much smaller.

I think I may have seen some of his other utubes.. a sincere and well intending soul if it's the same fellow.
However, I'd encourage him to bind his topknot as a boltgun should be kept at and cycled from the shoulder if at all possible.
Long ago, my elder brother cut his hair after a Skil worm drive with a three foot auger bit about killed him.

Only prone unsupported is allowed though, so we'll see how fast he can rack that bolt from that position. I shoot lefty, so I son't think I could pull it off reaching over the receiver.

My hair's longer than yours, Josh. Like Runfiverun said, keep it shouldered, eyes focused on target, and palm the bolt, just don't hit yourself in the nose with the striker button. If I were shooting prone with snow on the ground I'd be wearing artic snowshoing gear. BRrr..
