I would like to hear some opinions about this inline from anyone. I'm thinking of buying one. I was given a CVA Buckhorn a year ago as a present and have had a lot of fun with it, shot a dozen wild hogs on my ranch with it, and other than it being so poorly designed as far as cleaning it goes, it wasn't a bad gift. It has to be completely disassembled to clean it. The Wolf model seems to improve on that with the break open design and the quick release breech. At least that what the advertisements say. But I'd like to hear from some pro's.

Best low cost muzzy on the market in my opinion. The quick release breech plug is great and after cleaning mine free of the factory grease and relubing with barricade, the trigger breaks at a clean crisp 30oz.

I'm glad to hear that. I can't afford anything more expensive and I'm really into the muzzleloading now.

It was a good gun i only shot it a few times , one of the other shooting sports leaders had won it at a banquet and brought it to to a training day at the range it shot patched round ball nicely it was easy to clean , and had a decent breach plug wrench as i recall.

in the meantime go get a can of the birchwood casey gun scrubber. It just melts all the packing grease out of the action! Follow up with some barricade.
