Our local community college is updating thier computers,so they had the old ones cleaned out and are selling them.I was there the other day with my boss putting in a new suspended ceiling and the lady says"do either of you guys need a computer? We have 1 left,If you want it take it.It's a DELL and it comes with a monitor."

So I now have a computer in my reloading room!!!! I went and picked up a cheap keyboard and mouse from Wally World,Now I'm ready to rock!! No more waiting for the wife or kid to get off facebook so I can get online!

Very nice! Very handy to have one in the shop. I keep an extra laptop in mine.

Handy for sure. I keep an old lap top on my bench.
Your USB ports will supply power for LED powder checking lights.

Got one of my old one's up there in the shop. Handy to have occasionally but I seldome take the time to turn it on as I have more important things to do up there.

Does give a quick reference on loads and moulds, etc./beagle

Congrats, the price was nice :) it sure makes it handy when you need to look up some info or order components.

I keep all my reloading info on my iphone with a app called Ammotracker. Really works for me since I have so little space on my reloading bench. I guess if I didn't have 4 presses and a Luber on the bench I'd have enough room.

My wife had a real desktop computer built for me and got a nice flat screen monitor so the aging laptop has been sent to the gun room. I'm afraid to turn it on though, because I might spend too much time in there! If there was a bed and a toilet in there I'd never leave.

I have one running in the reload specifically for web content and tracking data. It's an older Pentium 4 with 1GB of memory so nothing special but it does work, mostly. ;)

Can I get that program on a screen that is big enough to see?

I see mine fine on my iphone, but if you had a ipad it would be quite large.

I have computers all over the house, do not have one in my man cave. I do computers for a living, I did turn an old laptop into a wireless access point so I could extend the range to cover the man cave, I use my iPhone in there but having a better network connection was a requirement.

When I got a new laptop at work, I was able to purchase my "old" laptop for the book value we were showing on our books. It had been fully depreciated, so I was able to pick up a 3 yr old laptop for $140. I could probably turn around and sell it for $250 in a heartbeat, but I got it for my shop. It is as good as any of the desktops I have in the house.

In my mind, no man-cave is complete without a computer.

Sorry, no offense intended, I guess I misunderstood your question. If your question was " can I get the program for a computer" go to www.geekswithgunsonline.com they can set you up with what appeare to be very extensive software to track ammo along with a gun inventory and ballistic program all rolled into one program. I don't have or use this program, I just noticed it when looking for a Ammo Tracking software package. I think the iphone/ipad app was $2.99.

No offense at all.
I was simply pointing out that I am old and can't see 'little' any more.
My laptop was free and the 32 inch flat screen was only $248 at Walmart so I am set.
I was only wondering if I could get the program without paying what I consider to be way too much for a little tiny screened trinket.
I will check to see if your link helps.
Do you think they will take a Money order.:bigsmyl2:
Thanks

Thanks for the link.
I checked it but it looks like it is a money making gimic.
I am a Linux person so I will check to see if I can find something better that is the usual Linux freeware price. FREE.
Then if I like it, I can send the writer a donation.
I hate paying for Windows type programs that was written by someone wishing to make easy money, then forgotten, when I can often get better written programs that are free and open so they can be fixed and improved upon by anyone.
Some of the best computer people are not like the famous ones that are sooooo greedy they steal other peoples work, screw it up so it will only work on their, over priced, Mickey Mouse system, so they can rip people and become millionaires.
