This bullet never ceases to amaze me. I shot a few today cast from 2 lb of monotype to 18 lb of lead pipe. This gives a reasonably soft alloy, I wanted to see how the HP version holds up on the berm.
From a rest at 50 yards it put 7 of 10 shots into one ragged hole. For a plain base over 14 gr of 2400 it was pretty good. Lube was Ben's red, no leading at all.
Only recovered one bullet, it shed the entire HP portion but penetrated over 4 inches into our clay soil at 100 yards. That amazed me.
Bad news is that I lost the gib lock and screw on my Williams sight. I left a message on the machine at Williams, couldn't get a human in the right department. Brownells has some buti hate to pay that mich.
