Old service photo

My buddy sent this photo to me today. I had forgotten all about it. This was taken back in 2006. I was 21 and the majority of the guys in that photo weren't old enough to drink legally. If you are wondering which one is me I am the good looking one.

Anywho, anybody else have any old service photos they want to share?

I had to smile at "old service photo" from 6 years ago! I keep thinking of either my Dad's
photos (WW2 thru 1970s) or my friends (Vietnam era) as "old service".

All things are relative. When you are young 6 yrs was a long time ago. When you are old,
it is really recent.

I still miss the old 109 vans; spent a lot of time in them in Korea; Nightmare Range, Rodriguez Range, and others. As long as your heater worked, you were ******* in tall cotton when you were in one of them! Add a Coleman stove and some chow, and you were good to go!

Ahhhhhh .... Grafenwohr ...... I was stationed at Rhein Mein in the early 80's and spent MANY MANY days in Grafenwohr recovering air-drop loads by our C-130 crews.

Old? I was at 17 years in the Army then and breathing the same dust you were, but I do believe you were a bit further west out in Anbar province. Was at COB Speicher Aug 2005-Aug 2006. I had some great pics from 2003-04 on a lost harddrive and didnt get many pics in 05/06.

Wow. I guess I forgot just how young you guys can be when serving our country. That whole group looks so young!! It's nice to see actual pics like this to get back to reality.

We were in Ar Ramadi at that time trying to increase our foothold in the city.
