I just picked up some new steel mini muffin pans that have a non stick coating on them.It doesn't say teflon or what is on them, but I want to know if I need to sandblast and quickly rust them up(I am ready to start smelting already) ,or am I good to go as is?

I do have a torch,if it would work to heat them up and "cook" the stuff off if that works.

I couldn't find anything around here that didn't have a coating on them or were $20 per pan. These were $6 for two, they have a battleship grey color.

Nonstick should be fine and just char by themselves.

The ones not to use are tin plated ( silver ) steel. Don't go there.
