Very well done, I had never heard if it either. @nd Amendment actually at work, not some
theoretical stuff.

First I've heard of it too. I usually work at the polls during the elections and can attest to the integrity of the ballots being cast (in my precinct) but cannot attest to the accuracy or integrity of the electronic ballots being read.

Worth remembering next time somebody serves up the old B.S. about "the sheriff being the highest law enforcement official extant."Onceabull

Guns & Ammo (I think) had an article about this sometime in the late 70's or early 80's.

It sure made me think when I was in high school.

Nice video, very interesting and not something you are likely to see taught in our schools. :(

That and don't you dare eat your pizza in to the shape of a gun!

Or the latest lesson in your lunch isn't healthy enough by their standards. etc. etc. etc.

This story was referenced in John Ross' Unintended Consquences.

By the way John...when will this be available again?

I heard about it in the early '60's when I was in college. Knew some fellows from Athens back then. It wasn't too far from Knoxville.

I watched the original showing on national TV.
Presented by the Hallmark (Hall of Fame or Showcase).
as I recall, most folks just shook there heads or shrugged. It didn't seem relavant to them at the time.

I read the account from American Heritage magazine every year or two for inspiration. It never gets old:

Thank You.

In My ignorance I had never heard of it.

That is interesting.

It should be shared with friends Nationwide just for educational purposes.

I guess that is why the armory no longer has ammo stored there.

And now we can fully understand what the second is truly all about.

Stalin had a very interesting quote about the power of the vote, but it is at work. i will post it on this thread tomorrow

I heard about this many years ago, but through the fog of time and bourbon, had forgotten it. That's ok, I have sent it to people who will appreciate it and will more than likely forward it to like minded people. I suggested that all Liberals and Progressives be required to watch it and comment on it. That should be some hilarious reading.

Hadn't heard of it, thanks for the post. Makes you wonder about electronic ballots... bulky physical evidence has something to be said for it.
