HERE (http://pe.usps.com/text/DMM300/Notice123.htm#1012541) is the complete price list for all of the services offered by the USPS. It's a very long page and takes a while to stroll through it.

It's longer than a Chinese restaurant menu.

Great, now I'm in the mood for tacos... oh wait, you said Chinese... well I still want tacos for lunch today. Thanks for the link Jim. I know prices went up a little just over a month ago. -Brad

USPS hs a new kind of box that some of you may be interested in.
It's called the Regional Rate box, and comes in four size/shape variations.

It can carry up to (I think it's) 25 pounds, which gives it sort of a 'flat rate aspect', and it costs less that a regular FRB.
The actual postage you will have to pay is determined by how far away the destination is.

I had a load of shotgun wads to send to a guy in Washington. They would fit in a Flat Rate 'meduim', but that postage is almost eleven dollars. The Regional Rate Box A (barely) held all of the wads, and only needed $5.66 to get from Montana to Washington.

But, you can't pick one up at the Post Office. At least not in small town offices.
They are free when ordered online, and come in packs as small as five.

I've been able to use the Regional Rate box a few time and it saved a few bucks. Worth trying out. Online is the best way to get them and very quick.

I am a big fan of their fairly new flat rate "padded" envelope.
it's a bubble plastic with outer covering of paper.
I think it's only available online, my local PO doesn't carry them.
I order 15 of them at a time.
they are a little cheaper than a small flat rate box,
and hold more...but they don't have the integrity of a box,
but it is much tougher then the regular flat rate envelope.
I have used it successfully to ship out several of
the Improved Handle/linkage kits in the last month,
and that was a heavy piece of solid steel round bar.
