I have hunted for hours. I'm hoping someone can download a picture of

a Lyman 311366. I'm told it is a Loverin type boolit.

Thanks

Are you sure of that number? Could it be a 311466, instead? If so, I'd be glad to post a picture.

Edit to add: Go here, no 311366, though. http://www.three-peaks.net/bullet_molds.htm

I have wondered, but I have found 5 different posts here on CB regarding a 366. The 311466
is also a Loverin, correct?

311466 is a loverign gas check design.
i have a nei copy you need a big throat for it to work.
i use it in my 30-30 savage bolt gun.
it will work in the 7.7 jap and in some other mil rifles too if you get one to pour big enough.

The mysterious 311366 *is* actually 466, it's funny how a series of misteps will take you funny places.

462, the Buffalo chart is'nt bad, but here's one on Castpic.s:

Thanks for responding fella's!

What are you shooting it in? Getting the boolits fitted to the throats is important with cast.

In discussing boolits in the area of 150 grains, it was opined that this was a very good design, not much taked about here.

At this point, calibers in house are:

30-30; Contender and Lever, M-1, SMLE, MN.

Yep, has to be a missprint somewhere. The #366 cherry was a 323 bullet./beagle

Here's your basic 311466. One on the right has the 1st 2 driving bands sized to .300.
