Gentlemen, I have the distinct pleasure of introducing a new member. BobMac51 has joined our band of pirates.

Bob is my nephew and has recently started handloading. I finally talked him into buying a furnace and some casting equipment.

Get th' net, he's hooked!! :holysheep

Bob is in Charleston, SC and teaches at the Citadel. He's married to an extremely beautiful lady (who happens to be my brother's daughter, by the way!) and they have a pistol ball of a boy who's named after my brother's and my last name, Connor.

I'll be showing him the ropes of casting and I'm gonna need all the help I can get. You know how these college types are. :kidding:

He shoots an AR, a 9MM and a 45 ACP. I'm gonna need some of you 9 experts to help me with that caliber.

Drop by his home page (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/member.php?u=22941)and have a look a that pistol ball. Another future shooter and caster!

Glad to see ya', Bob! Welcome, buddy![smilie=w:

Welcome Bob!

My name is Stub and I'm a leadaholic. You have a great mentor in Jim and maybe he'll let you shoot his Tender...

Welcome Bob. Absolutely the very best of all internet sites to be a member. My wife now refers to the computer as "my bullet friends" as I usually visit here at least once a day. Definitely a wealth of knowledge here on this forum. BC

Good morning to Bob and welcome about this place.
Always good to have around individuals who are advancing in liquid meturlagy to the benefit of future military leaders.

There was a bumper sticker in the 1990s after VMI was forced to admit female cadets that went like this: Women at VMI? What's next, men at the Citadel?

No offense, but it made me laugh. Not surprisingly I saw the bumper sticker on a car in Lexington, Virginia.

thanks to everyone for the warm welcome (no pun intended). Jim has raved about you guys for years, so it is good to finally get to know some of you. I hope my questions won't be too rudimentary...Jim will get to bear the brunt of those, but if I can offer something in the future, just let me know...BTW the bumper sticker from the VMI guys was really funny...

Welcome Bobmac51. Jim is highly thought of here, so you couldnt ask for a better teacher. Just be forewarned this is not a hobby it is a addiction.

Welcome from another "college type" guy. Lots of good folks here, nothing is too simple to ask, nothing too complicated to solve. Enjoy your time here.
