Buck Compton, former 101st paratrooper and California judge passed away this weekend.

What a great American, one we can all thank for his various services.

I would encourage any of you that can get to France to take a tour of the paratroop battle
areas. I have visited many of the key locations shown in the Band of Brothers miniseries
and books, and also walked Boise Jacques where they dug in at Bastogne. It is a humbling
experience to even visit the real locations where these heroes changed the world for the
better.

RIP Mr. Compton. Well done.
