Aluminum wheel weights??

Are there aluminum wheel weights, I'm finding some that say AL-MC. I'm doing the cut test and they seem to be harder than lead but not as hard as steel and zinc. So what have I got?

Apparently AL does indeed mean [designed for] Aluminiuuumm wheels, while MC is a code for the profile of the wheel's bead.

An aluminum wheel weight makes as much sense as a lead balloon. Clearly, it refers to the type wheel it is meant for.

Thanks man, that makes sense as to why they seem a little harder than traditional lead.

Concrete is actually less dense than aluminum, so a concrete boat would actually work and float.

Actually, I own one.

It's not made from concrete per se, rather it's mortar plastered on a steel mesh matrix. Extremely strong. Average thickness of the hull is about 3/4" for a 32 ft boat, so is a bit thicker and heavier than an equivalent hull from steel.

My boat is the same design as this one http://sycrystal.blogspot.com.au/2008/05/hartley-32-ferro-cement-sloop.html although mine is not in as nice a condition, as I really don't have the time to keep her as pretty.
