I have a Lee C309-107F mold for my Winny 94 and was needing some load data on it. I`ve ran a Google search and came up nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :cbpour:

Substitute data for the 31141 Lyman.

It's highly unlikely you will come up with nothing here. It kinda depends on what you wanna do with it. There's a lot of people on here with a lot more experience than me but here's what I shoot in mine. My mold is the Lyman 311-041 which I think is awfully close to yours.
17 grs of 2400 gets me on either side of 1700 fps and around 2" at 100 yds
This is about as fast as I can go with this powder/ alloy/ gun/ marlin 336 MG barrel
I didn't chrono 7 grs of clays but it was very pleasent to shoot and very accurate at 40 yds.
For plinking loads I suspect 10 grs unique might be hard to beat. I haven't played much with the plinking loads since I'm mostly interested in hunting.

I use that exact bullet with 8 or 9 grains of Unique.

Very accurate.

Yup, 9-10 grains of Unique or work up a load with 2400 if it's the 170-grain Lee boolit.

Like was said, substitute data for the 311041 or 31141, TONS of data for that caliber and boolit everywhere.

With that bullet I have had great results using 32.0gr of AA2495 in my 336. I size them .302, no check, and patch them back up to .310. Shoots a bit better than my best jacketed loads.

Is the mold number Burch posted a typo?

yes, it's a typo. It should be: C309-170F

what do you want to do with them and what powders do you have ?

i shoot the 309-170rf as dropped at .310 in my 336

the Lee 2nd edition book has a lot of cast data for that boolit in 30-30

Another good powder is AA 5744, at about 19 - 20 grs will give you about 1850 with the Lee 170.

+1! Good for plinking and targets but not for deer IMHO.
