Moderators,

If this is in the wrong place please move and let me know where it goes to.

Ok Guys and Gals,

As a result of not having the coin to pony up, but a willingness to help keep our place to be alive and to give something back to this forum after being the recipient of generous members on this site (Nueces, Floodgate, and Kywoodwrkr to name but a few)

I have a Saeco #353 Mould like new in box that I will offer to auction and forward proceeds to sponsor the site.

Mould is like new in box. Drops a 178-179 grain bullet form my alloy of 10 lbs ww- 1 lb monotype. Diameter of .359 on bottom and top driving bands, 357 at top edge of crimp groove. This is a flat base with 1 lube groove and a crimp groove. This mould is not new but is in excellent shape. Mould face and cavities were cleaned and enough bullets cast to see dimensions as cast. Mould was then re oiled for storage. Mould number is a current offering. This auction does not include shipping, who ever is most interested at end will have to pay shipping. I will pack to make sure it is Post Office Proof. Insurance will be extra. I would like a Postal Money order at end. This auction does not include Handles.

I would like to run this through March 30, 2007, could go longer if need be. Input on that welcome. You can post your offer in this thread, kind of like a silent auction.

Here is a picture

I forgot to mention how to bid. Onceabull has sent me a pm and he has first crack at $40.00. I changed the initial post to say bid here.

Onceabull,

is that amenable to you?

I'll up it to $50. Looks like it might be an excellent bullet for Mrs. Fourarmed's Ruger maximum.

Thought it might be more popular but there is still a week. I should have put it on ebay and donated the money from that sale. I guess we are all from the same mould, cheap and disinterested until we look back at the ebay auctions.

I was not sure but thought this might be a boolit for some of the lever action guys.

No sweat we takes what we are offered. This mould is up here because others on this site have given me stuff at no cost, they would not take anything in return so here is my way to make them accept something in return.

Anyway anything we get for the mould is more than we had a week ago!

What is the "official" ending time?

I will go $55.00, but, I hope I get beat!! :-)

Ending is before the clock turns to March 31, 2007. I am Mountain standard time and I think the server converts things to standard server time for the post, but not sure. In light of that and the fact that I have to be out of touch with a computer (I hope) march 30 and 31, 2007, the last post with highest price that shows a post time before the clock turns to March 31, 2007 will get the mould.

Is that fair enough?

Ok Guys still figuring out the bugs. I did not think we would have to be as prim and proper as you may have to be on ebay. I really did not expect anything like sniping or people staying up to the wee hours to get that last bid in. After all I did not list this as "vintage", but if that will drive the price up and support the sight I can do that. (please read the above in jest, that is the way it is meant)

I had hopes of this not being the last time this type of auction could be held to benefit the site. We together should be able to work the bugs out.

Ok all this is winding down. To sweeeten the pot a little due to the price that has been reached I will pay for shipping by USPS. I don't really like their service or policy, but I understand their system and at work I am 2 blocks from a PO.

At the moment I will be out of town when this things ends. I will try to get back to the winner once I return on March 31 to April 2.
