It only took 5 days to get it to my door which is certainly very fast service. And it casts very nicely too. It's the first aluminum mold I've ever had. It's catalog no is 40-190C, for the .38-40. Comes out at 192.7 gr with my ww and a bit of lead free solder alloy.

thats a nice mold i cant wait i ordered one on moday. i should have it soon. i orderd one for the 32 H&r .

That bullet appears to be the same bullet that I designed for the 44-40 which has no crimp groove. It has wider and deep lube grooves and is designed to crimp over the top of the top drive band.
The 190 C in the accurate catalog has a crimp groove and the 200 grain is the same as my 43-210 B for the 44-40 except sized at 401 to work in the 38-40.

Tom makes a really beautiful mold doesn't he? The brass one I ordered from him last month is my first brass mold, and it is almost too pretty to pour melted metal into......I said almost. It casts really beautiful boolits too, eh?
