Anybody know of any scrapyards close to Nashville that sell soft lead for cheap? Any in Davidson county? If you live in Nashville you will know what I am talking about.

Not in Nashville but Green Earth recycling in Hopkinsville KY is where I get mine. Last I got was $.30 a lb back in November. Mostly roof vent flashings. Funny thing was there were a bunch, as in hundreds of pounds, of bullets in the box. Appeared to be 44s. Some casting operation that went out of business.

Never looked into Nashville but the recyclers up here in Clarksville only sell commercially.

I have had good luck at mom and pop tire stores and recycleres in smaller towns that have to haul it to the big cities.
Surely you know that Greed is much more common in the cities.

Might want to try CFC in Tullahoma.

Also (can not remember the name) in Columbia

PSC in Nashville, and Shapiro in Dickson

I thought that PSC Metals doesn't sell to individuals? I haven't called and asked, but I thought that they just processed the metals.

Try stained glass shops. The "came" they use is dead soft. Used (scrap) came can be had cheap.
