Does anyone know if someone makes this mold? I tried a search but did not find anything. I'd like to get one...

I was in a group buy when I first joined the forum and it was for a full wadcutter in 44 cal.

Seems to me this was Mountain molds? He did make a cherry so he should be able to cut you a mold.

There is a Noe group buy going on that is a tri-wt wad-cutter. You can get 230 gr 153 gr and 110 gr. Hope this helps.

I use a Lyman 429348 185g wc 2-cavity mold , these still plenty of them around.

Seaco made one, 1 944? I believe.
Accutate makes 3 or 4 different ones.
Ballisti-cast makes 4 or 5 different ones.
NEI make 5 or 6 different ones,

I'm sure that there's more mold makers out there that make them. I remember even seeing on of those makers (accurate)I listed even doing a tumble lube version, 43-220w, of a wc in 44 (big soup can).

Seaco makes a 180 gr. wadcutter mold in .44 cal., #944. Lyman/Ideal has a .44 wadcutter mold of 245 gr.; 429352, don't know if it's still made though...

We make a 85 grain, 87 grain, 185 grain and 200 grain wad cutter Ballisti-Cast #1043, 950, 839, 966 and a semi-wad cutter #707 available in 245, 185, and 135 grain. The bullet design catalog is on our website or you can find the H&G one on this forum (subtract 600 off our numbers to get the H&G design).

Saeco currently catalogs one, but I would go to MM & have one made exactly like you want it. It won;t cost much more & you can have 3cav.

44 cal WC moulds are hard to find but they are there and usually go for big bucks on ebay but you could get lucky.

I bought one of GLL's over run LEE group buy moulds...200 grain double ended full wadcutter. Only complaint was it shot low in the VAQUEROS.

Blammer, IIRC, honchoed a brass clone of LYMAN 429362 from OLD WEST BULLET MOLDS. This one was allegedly cut with a cherry, so he should be able to make you one.

MIHEC did a hollow base wadcutter in brass in the cramer style. Switch the pins for a heavier solid.

I missed on the NIGHT OWL ENTERPRISES tri weight wadcutter that recently closed, but Swede will probably make some extras for late-comers/procrastinators like me.

H&G, now Ballisticast makes one in three different weights. It can be used in the 44 special or Mag. I shoot the 107B with 5.5 grains of Unique in a couple of S&W 29's. At 25 yards off the bench-one hole all day long. Sized .430, lube NRA 50/50 in one groove, seated flush with case mouth burns clean, no leading, mild recoil. LLS

At some point Lee made a 2 cavity that cast a 210 grain full wadcutter.

Old West Bullet Mould made this 44 FWC, you can still get it from him too.

Double checked my full wadcutter 44 mold and it was made by Old west boolit molds.

Best bet is to google old west he should have the cherry in stock.

By the way this is the easiest mold I've ever used and I put that down to it being brass.
