I just got suckered into shooting in another pistol league

I was thinking of a light recoil load .
Speed is the thing , fast ist time .
Range is 10' to 20 yds , 10 ring is fairly large at 20 yds
Score / Time = score

I was thinking of trying a lighter bullet in the 40 S&W than the 175 I normaly shoot out of the 229 .

Looked at a 145 gr mould .

Wondered if anone has had had any luck with it

thought about trying it myself but they only make it in a 2 cavity mold. I shoot the lyman 150 swc now (a discontinued mold) and its the most accurate bullet ive found in my 610 and 646 and i thought that the guns may just like light bullets. Oh well its just not worth it to me to bother with a 2 cavity lee.

i normally shoot 165's in 40 and some 200's(don't ask)....
but as speed is the name of the game a lighter bullet gets you back on target quicker.....i recently bought some 135's

me thinks the 145 would be "quicker" than the 175's......i gave up on 175's long ago in 40.
