Well I added another lever gun to my collection last week. I bought a new old Browning B92 in 44mag. The gun has been fired 12 times since new. I was given the box of ammo with the twelve fired cases and unfired rounds. I reload for all calibers of rifles and would like to load for this rifle too. I have about 8 or 9 molds for my 45-70's and really don't want that many for this rifle. What mold would you suggest for hunting and what mold for plinking? What factory boolit would you suggest? I'm unsure of the twist and have no idea if I should be using heavy or light boolits. Is there a group buy mold waiting for me???? Thanks in advance.

randy-
For a plinker, I'd go with the Lyman 429667, I probably shoot more of these than any other in that caliber, and I'd like it even more if it didn't have a bevel base. Lee also makes a RFN but it's only 200 gr; I don't have any experience with that boolit. Hope this helps.

Randy,

My B92 ain't particular as long as you feed it something 280 grains or less and keep the diameter at .432.
