lead hardness

hi yall! new to the forum and new to muzzzleloading. been casting for a few years and was wondering if anyone uses a cast boolit in a sabot for BP?

I do. Lee 452-228 1R HP in T/C bulf pack .54cal sabots. Very accurate. Boolits are cast of pure lead and push-through sized without lube.

I use Lee's TL 452-230-2R in WW's in my Traditions Pursuit .50 using TC's black sabots (.45 in a .50) for plinkin' and practice. Accurate as Hades.
