Saw this advertised in the Sportsman's Guide catalog I just got. It is like a PDA but dedicated to ballistics info.
It uses the muzzle velocity and a downrange velocity as a basis for calculations. Only $31.47 so price is right.

Does anyone have any experience or heard comments on this?

Never used it. If you have an iPad or iPhone there are quite a few aps for under five bucks that will do the same.

Don't have a smart phone and I think this device is different as it does not use the ballistic coeffecient to determine its calculations.
It might be tricky to get a downrange velocity reading at the public range I shoot at most of the time.
This device also only stores data for five guns.
