KAL T&D "Steel" Cam Lever for Lyman 4 Cavity Moulds.

Tired of pounding your Lyman 4 Cavity sprue plate with a stick or mallet? You won’t be anymore with this new Sprue Cutter Plate and Steel Cam Lever.

This combination will greatly increase your bullet casting productivity with less hassle and trouble free operation.

This heavy duty replacement combo is similar to Lee’s original concept offered on their 6 cavity moulds. This new Sprue Plate & Cam Lever combo has been designed to offer sufficient “Cam Duration”, ensuring cleaner cuts with less physical force. The Cam/Mould block bearing surface is large enough to help reduce wear on the mould blocks as well.

All cam levers are laser cut from 5/16” steel plate and CNC machined to finished dimensions. Sprue Plates are laser cut from 3/16” steel plate and CNC machined as well. Blue /Black finish, comes with wooden handle & ferrule.

Simple to install, just swap the original sprue plate with the new one, using the factory original shoulder bolt (new spring washers included). It couldn’t be any easier.

Lifetime Guarantee against Breakage (Cam lever only).
If you break this lever, I’ll gladly send you a free re-placement.

Your jacketed bullets for the .401 WSL look great. Too bad about shipping problems to the USA.

I have been using two of these for some time now. They are nothing short of fantastic. Combine a set of Rick's handles, which are also fantastic, with the new sprue plate and cam lever, and it is just not the same mold. The sprue plate is way better than the Lyman plates. In my opinion, the Lyman plates are the weakest link in the Lyman four cavity molds. Rick's are way, way better. Maybe the best word to describe the transformation is "smooth" The combination of the handles, cam lever and sprue plate totally transforms the casting experience with one of these molds. Speed is significantly increased, and it is a whole lot smoother leading to better bullets and less rejects. It is one of those things where during the process of using it, you begin to appreciate just what a quality product it is.

Conclusion: I have always been a fan of Lyman four cavity molds. I didn't think they needed improving. But I have always liked the Lee cam lever system, so when Rick first offered these I ordered two. They are way better than I expected. Now I don't want to cast without them. Which leads to....

My Problem: I have almost 40 of these molds. There is no way I can afford a lever for each. But I will be trying to add a lever to a couple of the ones I use more often, when I can afford it.

I too purchased a pair of these and have had excellent results. They make sprue cutting easy and the fit is superior. I wish I could afford about 10 more of these, but for now I make do swapping them as needed.
