So.....
Today I got a message on Facebook from an old friend from high school.
He said his dad was selling off all his reloading gear.

In actuality you probably would've had that cost or more in the powder and primers if you went to a store for them, I know it would've been more around here.
I would have to say that you did good especially after adding all the bullets and other things to the mix.

nice deal ! . i run into deals from time to time but not that many items. my last deal was 2500 pistol primers , 4 newer unopened cans of H4831 and 5 cans of assorted powders that had varing amounts of powder in them totaling approx 2 1/2 lbs for $90.00

I am sad to hear your friend giving up on the sport, but I understand especially with grandkids who may or may not want to continue the hobby (addiction).
Did good on your score!

With just the primers and brass you are over the top. , Everything else is gravy!

You done good!

It's always a shame to see someone giving it up, but really, I think it is better to see someone get it who will put the stuff to use, rather than give it to some ingrate realative that will just waste it.

Excellent! Deals like that come from friends who know you are a shooter and reloader. I have had a deal or two like that in the past and expect some more in the future.

That's a good deal! I just spent $600 on 20,000 primers, and 2.5lbs of powder alone! As you probably already know, unless you completely trust the person that loaded that ammo, I would pull it, and use the separate components.
